Hiring and Inside Sales Representative with experience in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

HRS, Inc. is looking for a salesperson to handle the growth of our educational eLearn course licensing and other educational materials. A familiarity with the field of human services, specifically intellectual and developmental disabilities is required. You will handle the entire sales cycle from qualifying leads to working them to a CLOSE! Smaller price-points mean a shorter sales cycle and a faster close. Many of the services you will sell are on an auto-renew contract resulting in continuing commission with little-to-no work for you. Most leads come in via marketing activities however some prospecting will be necessary.


  • Full-time, in-office position
  • Monday – Friday from 9-6pm with an hour lunch

  • Salary: Base + commission

  • Prospect new leads including via LinkedIn.
  • Qualify new sales leads
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products
  • Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Meet and/or exceed quotas
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort


  • Familiarity with the field of human services, specifically intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Outgoing, a natural extrovert, can have a conversation with anyone
  • Persistent and can get things done despite obstacles/barriers
  • Driven to make money, motivated by the thrill of getting that next sale
  • Inside Sales Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Ambitious, aggressive and not afraid to ask for the money to close the deal
  • No fear of technology – comfortable online and with software, ideally Zoho.
  • Ethical and fun to be around
